Virginia "Ginger" Miller, 80 of Corder, Missouri died on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at John Knox Village Care Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Born Friday, May 14, 1937 in Corder, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Homer Boswell and the late Betty Johnson Boswell. She married Robert L. Miller, Sr. on August 8, 1952 and he preceded her in death on September 12, 2000.

Ginger lived most of her life in Corder, Mo. and she was a member of the Corder United Methodist Church and the Corder V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was a waitress and cook at Smitty's Drive-In and owned and operated Morgan's Cafe in Corder retiring in 1999.

Surviving are two sons, Robert L. (Ann) Miller, Jr. of Corder and John (Amy) Miller of Corder; one daughter, Teresa Summers of Corder; seven grandchildren, Jeff Wilton, Tabitha Miller, Sabrina (Cody) Bristow, Tony Butler, Maggie Miller, Emma Miller and Bruce Schnakenberg; nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Homer (Dorothy) Boswell of California; three sisters, Anna McDonald of Arizona, Nadine (Bill) Mistler of Carrollton, MO, Lois (Ralph) Luebrecht of Higginsville, MO and Sandy Jenkins of Warrensburg, MO.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Helen Dickey and Ruth Short.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Corder United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ralph Varner officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Corder, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the Hoefer Funeral Home in Higginsville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be given to Family Choice.
