Pauletta McConnell, 71 of Higginsville, Missouri died on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Born Tuesday, March 26, 1946 in Rochester, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul Ingersoll and the late Alma Wondisford Ingersoll.

Pauletta married Sean K. McConnell on July 22, 1991.They moved from Ft. Worth Texas to Higginsville in 2003. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a secretary there. She was a leader trainer of the Boy Scouts of America in Memphis TN and then in Washington, DC.

Surviving are her husband Sean; one son, Cecil F. Harrod, Jr. of Higginsville; two brothers, Darwin Paul Ingersoll and Edward Wilkins, both of Memphis , TN; two sisters, Wynnetta Ingersoll of Richland, NC and Jewell Gatewood of Memphis, TN.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday March 4, 2018 at Hoefer Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Herbert officiating, Sheila Clark organist and Tabatha Clark soloist. Interment will be 10:00 AM on Monday, March 5, 2018 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Hoefer Chapel. The family suggest memorials to the American Lung Association or the ASPCA.
