Joanne K. Grannemann, 76 of Odessa, Missouri died on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at New Haven Living Center in Odessa, Missouri.

Born Monday, May 6, 1940 in Urbana, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Edward L. Keller and the late Sylvia G. Baldwin Keller.

She lived most of her life in Higginsville, MO. She married her high school sweet heart Dennis H.Grannemann on February 4, 1961 and he survives of the home in Higginsville.

She graduated valedictorian of her high school class in Alma, MO and then attended Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar, MO. Joanne was a law clerk for several attorneys. She then worked as a judicial administrave assistant for the Missouri Court of Appeals Western District. She worked there for 28 years, retiring on Septmeber 30, 1998.

She was a genealogy enthusiast and for many years a cancer survivor. Over the years she also enjoyed being a member of gardening, button and women clubs in the area. She enjoyed her Warsaw, MO lake cabin, dubbed "Granne's House", where she had a passion for gardening. Her home was always open to family and friends. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma, MO.

In addition to her husband Dennis, she is survived by three nieces; Donna Lea (Richard) Webb, Dewanna Lynn (Melvin) Lewis, Linda Carol (Allen) Bush; one nephew, Maxen Ray Mason.

She is preceded in death by two infant daughters; one brother, Herbert Keller and one sister, Irene Mason.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at Mission Ridge Cemetery in Urbana, MO with speaker Melvin Lewis, officiating. Family suggest memorials to the Mission Ridge Cemetery or Asera Care Hospice.
