Hazel LaVerne Limback, 87 of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, at her home.

Born Sunday, May 11, 1930 in Grain Valley, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Roy McBride and the late Arlie Martha Holstead. She married Kenneth A. Limback on September 26, 1974, and he preceded her in death October 8, 2012.

She lived in Tightwad, Missouri for 25 years before moving to Independence, Missouri for 2 years and then Lee's Summit for the last 3 years. She worked as a spool wirer for Bendix Corporation retiring in 1975.

Surviving are 3 sons, Steve (Patti) Wood of Liberty, MO, Randy (Jan) Wood of Grain Valley and Russell (Connie) Wood of Clinton, MO; 3 daughters, Reta (Richard) Needles of Lee's Summit, Donna Dilse of Blue Springs, MO and Debbie (Jerry) O'Connor of Independence, MO; 1 sister, Glenda Chapburn of Council Bluffs, IA; 18 grand children, 40 great grand children and 8 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 2 sisters, Helen McCale, Nancy Boyle.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Hoefer Chapel. Interment will follow in the City Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be: Kyle Wood, Jason Wood, Brian Dilse, Paul Hicks, Bradley Betz, Rodney Betz, Shayne Hicks, Miykael Hicks.
