Esther M. Goetz Vorwark, 96 of Higginsville, Missouri died on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville.

Born Wednesday, February 8, 1922 in Corder, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Goetz and the late Meta Dittmer.

She lived most of her life in Higginsville and worked as a Developmental Aid at the Higginsville Habilitation Center. She was a licensed reflexology masseuse and an in home caregiver.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Higginsville American Legion Auxiliary, Higginsville Civil Club, Alter Guild, and the Association of Retired Missouri State Employees.

Surviving are one daughter, Beverly (Lawrence) Wonderly of Higginsville; one brother, George (Lois) Goetz of Corder; 2 grandchildren, Michael (Debra) Wonderly, Jeffrey Wonderly; 4 great grandchildren, Austin Wonderly, Dalton Wonderly, Rylen Wonderly, and Taylor Wonderly.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Corder, with Pastor Mark Junkin officiating and Mary Frerking organist. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Corder.

Casket bearers are Kenneth Dale Goetz, Leonard Goetz, Delbert Goetz, Gary Goetz, Michael Wonderly, and Jeffrey Wonderly.
