Clinton M. Treece, 86 of Columbia, Missouri died on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at South Hampton Nursing Home in Columbia, Missouri.

Born Thursday, September 10, 1931 in Chamois, Missouri, he was the son of the late Herbert Treece and the late Minnie Dueker Treece. He married Virginia "Ginny" Foulds on September 1, 1951 and she survives of the home.

He lived in Higginsville for 31 years, then moved to Warsaw, MO for 34 years. He had lived in Columbia, MO for the last two years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Higginville. He worked as an assembly relief man at Ford Claycomo Plant retiring in 1983. After retirement he built homes for 20 years.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Alan (Linda) Treece of O'Fallon, MO, Jody (Teresa) Treece of St. Charles, MO and Dale (Mary) Treece of Fayetteville, AR; one daughter, Judy (Dennis) Cotter of Columbia, MO; Fifteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Clarence Treece, William Treece, Louis Treece and Walter Treece; one sister, Anna Loubelle Welliver.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at First Baptist Church in Higginsville with Dr. Greg Fine officiating and Pastor Bill Hix assisting. Interment will be in the Higginsville City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, April 23, 2018, at First Baptist Church, Higginsville, MO. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.

Casket bearers are his grandsons.
